Manufacturing Supervisor

Primary Function: 
The Manufacturing Supervisor is accountable for the day-to-day performance of manufacturing personnel in a team environment to support the production targets of the company. The position will coordinate with all levels of management to identify and implement corrective actions as appropriate; support, and document work processes to provide employees with the proper tools necessary to perform their jobs. Position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Essential Job Functions: 
• Maintain planned cost, on-time delivery and product quality
• Coordinate work schedule and provide technical direction to employees
• Enforce regulations relating to safety, attendance, conduct, and other plant work rules
• Interpret specifications, drawings, and job orders to employees
• Review labor entries for discrepancies and makes adjustments when required
• Work with HR to manage work performance
• Review production forecast for efficient management of resources
• Work with Industrial Engineer for improvements to increase efficiency
• Initiate or suggest plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals
• Develop and train employees on equipment operation, work processes, and safety procedures
• Assist with containment, and implementation of corrective actions

Education and/or Experience: 
• Associate Degree preferred, or High School diploma/GED, and two years post-high school education
• 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably assembly
Physical Demands: 
Able to lift and transport objects up to 35 pounds
