Sr CAD Drafter

Maintain records, files, and documentation of Deltrol’s library of part numbers.

Maintain consistency across drawings with respect to format, specifications, and GD&T.

May be responsible for managing engineering change order (ECO) procedure and duties that accompany it.

Create detailed drawings, 3D models, bills of materials, and routings for newly received routine production orders or customer requests.

Process and perform the necessary changes to drawings, bills of materials, and routings as defined by an ECO.

Utilize ERP software (Syteline) to manage part numbers and bills of materials.

Create and/or reconfigure 3D CAD models.

Review drawings and designs prior to initial releases or change orders.

Work with Design Engineers (as well as other departments) regarding issues or needs related to drawings, models, engineering documentation, or other general product questions.

Provide feedback to Engineers for design intent, as well as fit and function of assemblies.

Process customer quote and sales requests. This may include the following: o Create sample part documentation including drawings and bills of materials. o Work with sample maker to ensure parts are assembled and delivered by the assigned date.

Communicate with and assists FPC staff with requests for drawings, ECO’s, etc.

Maintain proficiency in personal computers for use in CAD, Syteline, and Microsoft Office.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for complying with all aspects of the safety program.
