Commercial ice machines depend on precise water control, reliable cycling, and durable components to produce consistent, high quality ice in demanding food service environments. Dispensing and drain valves and water inlet valves ensure ice machines operate efficiently, maintain sanitation standards, and deliver long service life.
Dispensing and drain valves manage the movement of water throughout the ice making process. In high capacity machines, these valves must withstand constant cycling, exposure to scale forming minerals, and harsh cleaning chemicals. Their reliability helps prevent clogging, maintain ice purity, and reduce maintenance downtime.
Water inlet valves are equally essential. These valves regulate the incoming water supply, opening and closing based on the machine’s control logic to maintain proper fill levels. In commercial ice machines—whether cube, nugget, flake, or gourmet—stable inlet valve performance ensures consistent ice production rates and prevents issues such as slow freeze cycles or oversized cubes. Because ice machines often operate in environments with fluctuating water pressure, inlet valves must deliver dependable flow control across a wide range of conditions.
Both valve types contribute to critical system functions such as harvest cycles, bin level management, and sanitation routines. Their performance directly influences energy efficiency, as precise water control reduces unnecessary freeze time and minimizes compressor load. In premium commercial machines, quiet operation, corrosion resistance, and long term durability are essential, making high quality valve engineering a competitive advantage for OEMs.
We supply easy‑to‑use liquid dispensing valves to commercial ice machine manufacturers who need reliable, electrically actuated draining after each ice‑making cycle. Our patented twist‑lock design has become the industry standard, backed by UL, NSF, WRAS, and ENEC certifications that ensure safety and performance across global markets. With brackets and coils that rotate in 90‑degree increments—no special tools or parts required—our valves integrate seamlessly into a wide range of machine architectures. They are also engineered for fast, tool‑free servicing to minimize downtime. For environments where water exposure is unavoidable, we offer IP69K coil options that significantly reduce the risk of failure due to ingression. Our industry‑standard DSVP12 valve is available in roughly 48,000 permutations of ports, brackets, and coil configurations, and we can develop custom options for unique application requirements. For noise‑sensitive installations, internally rectified coils deliver exceptionally quiet operation. With multiple global manufacturing locations, we provide a resilient, cost‑effective supply chain that keeps production steady and predictable.

Dispensing Valves
Deltrol Controls Liquid Dispensing Valves are used to dispense water in beverage equipment. Most of these valves are designed to dispense gravity fed (up to 3 psi) water or similar media from a tank. Our High Pressure (HP) versions of these valves are pilot-operated options that can handle up to 30 psi.
