As a leading supplier of robust solenoid valves for commercial beverage equipment, we help manufacturers reliably and electrically control fluid flow in their machines. Recognized as the #1 trusted valve manufacturer for coffee equipment in North America, we back our reputation with UL, NSF, and ENEC certifications that ensure safety and performance. Our portfolio includes extensive port and mounting options and coil terminations—resulting in roughly 675,000 configurable permutations—making it easy to integrate our valves into virtually any system design.

For applications that require something more specialized, we also engineer custom valve solutions tailored to your exact needs. Our AC valves feature internal rectification for exceptionally quiet operation, and with manufacturing facilities in both the United States and Vietnam, we provide a resilient, cost‑effective supply chain that keeps your production running smoothly.

Liquid Dispensing Valves

Deltrol Controls Liquid Dispensing Valves are used to dispense water in beverage equipment. Most of these valves are designed to dispense gravity fed (up to 3 psi) water or similar media from a tank.  Our High Pressure (HP) versions of these valves are pilot-operated options that can handle up to 30 psi.  Also called dump valves, diaphragm valves, outlet valves, & boiler valves.

Carbonated Water Dispensing Valves

Deltrol Control's Carbonated Water Dispensing valve for  beverage equipment is a 2-Way solenoid valve designed to dispense still or carbonated water 0 to 6 psi and withstand a carbonation pressure up to 150 psi prior to vent and dispense.

Water Inlet Valves

Deltrol Controls Water Inlet Valves for beverage equipment are pilot-operated valves used to control the flow of water from a water main.

Valves for Commercial Beverage Equipment FAQs

A dispense valve is a precision flow-control device that opens and closes to meter or release a liquid — such as a beverage, water, cleaning solution, or food product — in a controlled amount. Most dispense valves are solenoid-operated, meaning an electrical signal triggers the valve to open and allow flow, then closes it again to stop flow. They are used wherever accurate, repeatable dispensing is required in automated or semi-automated equipment.

All dispense valves are solenoid-actuated, but not all solenoid valves are designed for dispensing. A standard solenoid valve controls flow in a line (on/off), while a dispense valve is specifically engineered for precise volume delivery — often with low-pressure drop designs, food-grade materials, and tight tolerances for repeatable shot sizes. Deltrol's dispense valves are optimized for OEM equipment where consistent portion control matters.

Dispensing valves are used across a wide range of industries and applications, including: beverage dispensers (soft drinks, coffee, juice), commercial ice machines and ice dispensers, floor scrubbers and cleaning equipment, dishwashers and warewashers, water filtration and purification systems, food processing and portioning equipment, and laboratory or medical fluid dispensing. Deltrol specializes in the beverage, ice equipment, and floor scrubber markets.

Dispense valve wetted parts (the surfaces that contact the fluid) are typically made from materials selected for compatibility with the fluid being dispensed. Common materials include stainless steel for the valve body, EPDM or Buna-N (nitrile) for seals and diaphragms, and polypropylene or brass for fittings. For food and beverage applications, NSF-certified materials are used. Deltrol can specify material combinations to suit your fluid type, temperature range, and pressure requirements.

A proportional dispensing valve uses a variable electrical signal (typically 0–10V or 4–20mA) to open the valve to a precise degree, allowing variable flow rates rather than simple on/off control. This enables exact volume metering as flow conditions change. Proportional dispensing valves are used in applications like beverage carbonation, precision cleaning systems, and laboratory equipment where flow must be tuned dynamically.

Yes. Deltrol has over 50 years of experience designing custom dispense valves for OEM equipment manufacturers. Custom options include: orifice size and flow rate, voltage and coil configuration (AC or DC), port size and fitting type, seal and body material selection, mounting configuration, and operating pressure range. To start a custom design discussion, contact Deltrol's engineering team with your flow requirements, fluid type, operating pressure, and space envelope.

Deltrol dispense valves are available for low-pressure to medium-pressure applications, typically in the range of 0.5 to 150 PSI depending on the model. Beverage dispensing applications commonly operate at 20–80 PSI. Always confirm the operating pressure range with the specific model datasheet, and ensure the valve is not operated at zero differential pressure if it requires a minimum pressure to open.

Deltrol dispense valves are available in both AC and DC voltages. Common AC options include 24VAC, 120VAC, and 240VAC. Common DC options include 12VDC and 24VDC. The right choice depends on the power supply in your equipment. DC solenoids are generally preferred for battery-powered or electronically controlled equipment, while AC is common in line-powered appliances. Custom voltages can be wound to order.

Select Deltrol dispense valve models are designed and available with NSF/ANSI 61 certified materials for use in potable water and food/beverage contact applications. Contact Deltrol to confirm which models carry NSF certification and whether they meet the requirements for your specific application and jurisdiction.
